ABOUT BIFROST*

Bifrost was born at the end of the year 2000, formed by members of legendary bands from the Cantabrian scene such as Mordor and Anger Tears. Since then, they recorded a demo in 2001, an EP called “Seeking Evolution” in 2003, after having been chosen”Best rock-metal group” in the Gov. of Cantabria music contest, and two self-produced CDs, “Moving on” in 2007 and “Freedom” in 2011.

Throughout their career they have received praise from the press and the public, in addition to having shared the stage with bands with the category of Sepultura, Rage or Su Ta Gar.

Finally in 2017, after settling their formation with the addition of a new drummer, they began to compose new work.

Now, after 20 years of experience as a band, Bifrost have finished the recording of “Her Den”, their third LP, where they wanted to make the definitive leap in quality and have created their most balanced and ambitious work, counting with the mixing, mastering, experience and quality of Chromaticity Studios (Vhäldemar, Evil Seeds, Dormanth, Rat-Zinger, Rise to fall…) as well as the impressive work of Samuel Araya (Cradle of filth, Dark Moor, Darkdayrising…) to Illustrate their cover.

“Her Den” is a stylistic mix of heavy, melodic thrash and progressive metal, with a powerful and dynamic rhythm section, as well as top-notch guitars and vocals. The work is full of details and variety for lovers of bands like Vicious Rumors, Fates Warning, Iron Maiden or Megadeth.
